had such an amazing time at wagyu sukiyaki! the restaurant was so pretty, we chose to sit in the tatami room and the atmosphere was amazing. lovely to have the privacy too! the a5 wagyu was DELICIOUS - the tenderloin steak that i ordered was cooked to perfection. such a great birthday meal!! and annabelle was an amazing server, so kind and attentive, she took pictures for us and even gave us little paper cranes and kimonos as souvenirs!! very grateful for the wonderful experience

As we entered the restaurant- we were delightfully welcomed by the staff which was friendly and accommodating! We were seated in near the entrance. The arrangement of seatings is quite close to each other, however they provide blind roller for privacy purposes. Foods are excellent as for me! I had set of meats in bento box (not really remember the menu name), the meats really-really tender and they melts in the mouth as you chew slowly! They served along with rice and few condiments (wasabi, etc). As for my partner he had Hitsumabushi set. Some meats however were slightly tough. But still the flavours were there! It’s fun to eat Hitsumabushi in proper orderly way! All staffs were friendly and accommodating! We were gifted origami pieces as visit token. They also served complimentary green tea post meals. This is a well recommended place for any course occasion- lunch or dinner. Sugoi services!

Absolutely brilliant experience and exceptionally tasty food! The restaurant is in the basement floor and there is an elevator to get there if you want to avoid stairs. The restaurant has a nice vibe and you feel like you are in an intimate setting and you are taken care of by staff like VIP no matter how busy it gets. Our server, Annabelle was absolutely lovely and made this experience so much fun and interactive. Offered to take our pictures, showed us how to make and enjoy our Sukiyaki and even gave us the cutest little origami and matcha tea to end the night! The meat and accompanying vegetables were all of great quality too so overall we genuinely loved coming here! +++ they reassured us everything here was 100% halal!

Had a really delicious sukiyaki here - rich, well-balanced broth and generous portions of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The beef was tender and flavourful, and everything was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent: staff were attentive, friendly, and quick to assist without being intrusive. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. Definitely a place I’d return to for both great food and top-notch service.

Absolutely amazing experience!! We didn’t have a reservation prior, we walked in and got very lucky that we only had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. They seated us in a private room which we loved! If you want to enjoy your meal on a tatami mat, I would recommend booking a reservation. We ordered the wagyu sukiyaki and it was delicious! The waiter will show you two ways on how to properly cook the dish. After we finished, they gave us a free cup of matcha to cleanse the pallet as well as an origami crane for good luck! Our waiter and the rest of the staff are so nice and attentive. Great service overall! 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a cool dining experience!

Amazing experience. Attentive and extremely friendly staff, super tender beef, cozy vibe, good portion size for two people (we order 150g sukiyaki per person). They serve complimentary matcha at the end and give you a handmade tiny cute kimono :) server Raishi is the best. We will definitely come back.

My wife and I visited here for our anniversary and had an amazing time! The private traditional Japanese room for our sukiyaki experience was comfortable and cozy, with great vibes, cooking the meat ourself. Annabelle was a fantastic host, explaining the food, demonstrating the cooking, being attentive, and even giving us origami gifts. The wagyu beef was delicious (a must) and the wagyu sushi was divine. They do serve Halal meat. A perfect start to our Kyoto trip! ???????? Recommend booking ahead though.
